But with Himesh Reshammiya's sharp sense of melody at the helm of things, this is an album that shows promise. The title track is a soothing number and its twin versions are equally appealing. While Ankit Tiwari's version sets the melancholic mood right, Mohammad Irfan's heartfelt singing is top-notch. Unfortunately, Palak Muchhal has limited scope in the song, but she manages to leave a haunting impact with her wonderful voice.

'Akhon Se Ojhal' sung by leading man Adeel Chaudhary is a poignant number. His voice is fresh, soothing and melodious. Though there is a higher chance that its heartwrenching sad version will score better. Salman Ahmad displays his range in 'Kaise Boloon' which isn't an exemplary song but a solid effort. 'Yeh Nasha' sung by KK has a lovely instrumental arrangement and soft vocals make the song appealing. Naveed Zafar's song 'Fattey Chuck' is quirky and peppered with equal parts of 'bhangra-ish dhol' and electro beats. It is a bouncy number that is easy to sing.

Haricharan and Haripriya lend able support. Road song 'Safarnama' marks a comeback of sorts for Lucky Ali who sounds a lot like Rahman here. Instrumental number 'Parade de la bastille' makes good use of violins and bagpipes. 'Tu koi aur hai' is a gentle number with Rahman behind the mike, and Alma Ferovic and Arjun Chandy bringing a mellow close. No tamasha (drama) here, just pure experimental music.
